Starting in November of 1977, with just six factory workers and a small factory in the South of Johannesburg. Chemical Vulcanising Systems manufactured a small line of tyre repair products.
All of Chemvulc's tyre repair materials are made in South Africa. All the product lines were developed in South Africa, in the early days this was largely by trial and error. Our loyal customers were very understanding and eventually we got it right. Chemvulc's Original tube patches had a shelf life of only 3 weeks!
Today Chemvulc's Automotive Range is one of the most comprehensive product ranges of tyre repair materials for repairing tubes, passenger, truck and OTR tyres available. Chemvulc's products range from retreading equipment, solutions and cements, valves, wheel weights, airline equipment and gauges to tyre tools and accessories.
